Abstract:
This study investigates the trend of flood risk assessment using cross-sectional analysis of hydraulic data from a floodplain watershed affected by a flash flood event. The research consists of two phases. In the first phase, a two-dimensional hydraulic model is implemented on the Keshmahoor River. In the second phase, the focus is on assessing the risks associated with the mentioned flood using flood risk analysis in the study area. In the risk analysis section, four parameters are evaluated: Vulnerability (β), Reliability (α), Recoverability (γ), and Flood Risk Index (FRI). These indices determine the behavior of the hydraulic system in the area after the damages caused by the flood.
